Meet the Doctors
James F. Bonner, DDS
Dr. Bonner received his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. In 1977, he established his dental practice in San Antonio and began delivering comprehensive care to renew and restore smiles. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Bonner understands the intricacies of oral health and helps patients achieve lasting wellness through personalized treatments. His love of people and dentistry is evident in everything he does.
The doctor is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio District Dental Society. Dr. Bonner is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He’s been married to his wife, Sandy, for 36 years and has a son, Brian, who is a San Antonio firefighter. When not at work, Dr. Bonner enjoys golf and church activities.
John R. Huriega, DDS
Dr. Huriega attended high school in San Antonio. After receiving his bachelor of science degree in zoology from Texas Tech University, Dr. Huriega attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, where he earned his DDS degree. Following graduation in 1995, the doctor established his practice in his hometown of San Antonio. Dr. Huriega values the opportunity to help patients change their smiles and their lives through full-service preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Huriega’s professional memberships include the San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is a past member of the Dental Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board and a past Director of the San Antonio District Dental Society.
The doctor and Kristen, his wife of 20 years, have three children – son J.C and twins Grant and Caitlin – and spend as much time as they can participating in their children’s school activities. Dr. Huriega’s other interests include golf, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.
